Turn around.................

A shreik sound woke me up as i lay on my terrace, neighbours kid whaled for attention, squabbled restlessly around......i looked at him through the window, wondered do i remember my time as a child? Vague memories of me crying profusely holding onto dad for not leaving me at school.........as i grasped the metal barricade, called out for him till he dissappeared from sight, consoled by a another kid who said "they will let you go when those sticks on the clock meet at 12".There i sat with my back turned to the class waiting for that moment to arrive.
And the day i stood holding a bat,as i watched my two brothers fight for my inclusion in the cricket playing eleven..........the pain of having gone through 14 injections for messing around with a dogs tail...........a broken tooth when trying to imitate salman khan's act of cycling on one wheel.Praying and hoping that my name is not leaked as one of the long list of admirers of our class teacher :-)
Waiting eagerly for morning to play that all important first cricket match for my school.Proudly displaying the trophies i scored in our school sporting event.Dreading the day results were out and a sound thrashing for poor grades.A summer vacation at my native ,the excitement and enthusiam of meeting my grandma.Counting stations in anticipation of reaching the native and the long list of demands for goodies from the hawkers.
Reprimanded for playing the entire day in the hot sun by my uncle and cajoled by grandma to forgive him for being strict.Stealing mangoes from the orchards and chased by the watchdogs.........looking at the crushed coin,a result of a train passing on it - Remiscients days of childhood are bound to bring joy and a whiff of happiness.Be sure to turn around to feel those tender moments in our lives.
